Pu’er adventures, Japanese minimalism and a French-Russian brand of tea, opening in the Oculus, New York

This week, I stumbled upon some very nice articles about tea. One of them written by Max Falkowitz, whose articles are always very insightful but this week’s find is even more so especially if you’re curious to know more about the world of Pu’er.

A brief update from September, 23rd, 2018. I actually work in the area of this new store location. I went there several times and I have been a bit disappointed with the overall “feel” of this tea store. It’s definitely bright and clean, but the warmth that usually comes with a tea moment isn’t there. Staff is usually to themselves and don’t appear to be that knowledgeable about tea. You can sample several different blends but it’s more of a “quick gift” type of store.
